Services
Promoting positive behavior changes by helping individuals understand the reasons behind behaviors and using positive reinforcement, skill development, and environmental adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.
Individual Sessions
Sessions are available via telehealth or in person for Las Vegas residents.
Sessions can involve in-depth discussions to understand the functions of behavior concerns. These sessions help identify and discuss specific strategies to address identified behavioral problems. Sessions provide instructions and guidance on implementing ABA interventions. A method called Behavior Skills Training (BST) can be utilized in these sessions to help individuals and families learn skills, practice them, and receive feedback to enhance their implementation. The BST approach aims to improve the proficiency and generalization of learned skills in real-life situations.
Consultation Package
8 total hours each month of consultation via telehealth or in-person for Las Vegas residents.
Consultation begins with a behavioral assessment, which includes direct observations, indirect assessments, data collection, and skill testing. A behavior support plan is then developed based on the assessment results to implement treatment goals, objectives, and targets that address challenging behaviors and improve an individual's overall functioning and quality of life. We implement the behavior support plan by breaking it into manageable steps, setting clear goals and timelines, continuously monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments. The plan can include collaboration with other providers, such as therapists, physicians, and teachers. This package includes all the required support materials, such as data sheets, visual schedules, social stories, and communication tools.
School-Based Consultation
A typical school year of 9-10 months of weekly and monthly support.
Schools and educational institutions that require ongoing training, behavioral support, and guidance for their teachers and staff to effectively implement ABA strategies in the classroom, which help students reduce challenging behaviors, improve academic performance, develop social skills, and promote independence. School-based consultation aims to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to create individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of students.
